1. Is there a payment plan available for paying property taxes?
Yes. The Township offers a quarterly and a monthly option for payment of property taxes. The quarterly installment option has payments withdrawn on the installment due dates for the amounts indicated on the tax bill. The monthly payment option has payments being withdrawn from your account from January to November of each year.
If you are interested in either of these plans, please complete a Pre-Authorized Payment form, attach a void cheque and submit to the Township office.

2. When are property tax installments due?

Interim Bill: 1st installment is due on March 15th
2nd installment is due on June 15th
Final Bill: 1st installment is due on September 15th
2nd installment is due on November 15th
Where the 15th falls on a weekend or a Statutory Holiday, then taxes are due on the next normal business day.
3. Who do I contact about the assessed value of my property?
The assessment value of a property for tax purposes is determined by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation. The Township can provide a current assessment of your property but any further questions and discrepancies of this assessment can be discussed with an MPAC representative at

1. Internet or Telephone Banking
When using the internet banking method, enter your Property Tax Roll Number (this is a 19 digit number starting with 3408) Do not enter any periods or dashes.

3. Pre-Authorized Debit Plan
You may authorize the Township to withdraw your taxes directly out of your bank account. To print off an application form, click on the following link: Tax-Pre-Authorized Debit Form or Water-Pre-Authorized Debit Form and print off the form attach void cheque and mail or drop it off at the Township office.

5. Cheques/Post-Dated Cheques
Many ratepayers find it convenient to leave post-dated cheques for each of the two installments on the interim tax bill and again for the final bill.
6. After-hours Mail Slot
There is a mail slot located at the end of the ramp at the front of the Township office. Please do not insert cash in this mail slot.
