A Texas low tracking northeastward is expected to bring snow to the area Wednesday and possibly into early Thursday morning. Snowfall accumulations of 12 to 15 cm are expected, with locally higher amounts possible. Catfish Creek Conservation Authority has issued a Watershed Conditions Statement for residents of Catfish Creek Watershed on December 27, 2022 at 1:30 PM.
This is a Water Safety, Watershed Conditions Statement indicating that high flows, unsafe banks, melting snow and ice or other factors could be dangerous for winter sport recreation, children and pets. Flooding is not expected at this time.

Storm Office Closure - Dec 23, 2022

Due to the expected impacts of an intense winter storm beginning the evening of Thursday, Dec. 22 and continuing through Saturday, Dec. 24, the Township Office will be closed. Township staff are available via phone and email from 8:30am-12pm on Friday, Dec. 23.
The office will remain closed for the holidays and reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023 at 8:30am.

Catfish Creek Conservation Authority has issued a Watershed Conditions Statement for the shoreline of Lake Erie on December 22, 2022.
A Storm Warning for Lake Erie has been issued by Government of Canada, Marine Forecast and Warnings on December 22 at 03:00 AM. The possibility exists for damaging winds through today, tonight and into the weekend along the Lake Erie shoreline.
