Water/Waste Water Operations

Municipal Water is located throughout the Township on various water distribution systems. There is a 12” watermain serving the southern portion of the Township, there is another 18”watermain providing water east of Aylmer along Highway # 3. Properties, not abutting a waterline have a private source of water (private wells)

Watering Restrictions-Summer 2010
Effective June 1st through to September 15th there is a water reduction By-law in effect restricting consumers on watering lawns and plants for aesthetic purposes. Properties that have a civic address (911) number that ends with an odd number will be allowed to water their lawns on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday of each week. Properties having a civic address number that ends with an even number will be allowed to water their lawns on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday of each week. If you have any questions or concerns with this Water By-law, you can contact the Township and speak with the water manager.
