Recreation Facilities

The Township of Malahide is very excited about its two major construction projects recently completed:

A $2.1 million replacemet building for the Springfield Community Centre to be called Malahide Community Place

        at 12105 Whittaker Road and

A $1.7 million construction project for the combined South Dorchester Community Hall and No. 4 Malahide Fire Station

       at 49431 Lyons Line

Both received one-third funding contributions from each level of government through the Build Canada and Infrastructure Stimulus Fund. Construction on both buildings began in October 2009 and was completed in May 2010.
