About our Corporation
The Corporation of the Township of Malahide is a lower-tier municipal government in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Formed January 1, 1998 as a result of amalgamation of Townships, Malahide and South Dorchester and the Village of Springfield, the municipality is mainly rural and agricultural with hamlets of Avon, Copenhagen, Lyons, Mount Salem, Port Bruce, Mapleton, Kingsmills Corners, Summers Corners, Orwell and Calton.
