The Community Grants program aims to outline clear guidelines and procedures for distributing grants from the Township to eligible organizations. This policy promotes transparency, accountability, and the efficient use of public funds to support community initiatives that align with the Township's strategic goals. All grants are contingent upon provision being included in the Township's annual operating budget.

Founding Organizations
The Township of Malahide is fortunate to have organizations and service clubs working hard to make our community a great place to live and work for families, youth, and seniors. Many of these organizations provide essential support and services throughout our community. In recognition of their invaluable contributions and dedication, the Township offers a 40% fee reduction for qualifying founding organizations. This initiative is designed to encourage ongoing engagement from these groups, ensuring they have accessible resources as they continue enhancing our Township.
Interested founding organizations are encouraged to review the Township’s Policy for Founding Organizations and submit a Minimum Municipal Grant Assistance Application for a 40% reduction in eligible facility rental fees. For a full waiver of rental fees, founding organizations may wish to participate in the Township’s Community Grants Program.
This incentive not only helps to offset costs for these dedicated groups but also strengthens our partnership in fostering a vibrant and supportive community.
How to Apply:Eligible organizations may submit an application by Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 4:30 p.m for next year’s facility rentals to Grants@malahide.ca.
