The Township of Malahide aims to guide you through your development process by meeting early on to discuss your plans and work with staff in our planning and building department to ensure your success in our community. We currently pursue opportunities in partnership with the County of Elgin. Elgin County is an upper-tier municipality comprised of seven local municipalities with a population of approximately 46,000 people spanning an area of 460,000 acres.
As part of our strategic plan, The Township of Malahide prioritizes: engaging the community, unlocking responsible growth, maximizing our assets and implementing strong levels of service.

The Township of Malahide is located on the north shore of Lake Erie.
