Malahide Fire Services provide fire suppression, fire prevention and public education, medical response and specialized rescue services to the residents of the Township.
Malahide Fire Services is comprised of 1 full time Fire Chief and 80 community oriented Volunteer Firefighters operating from three Fire Stations. A Chief Fire Prevention Officer and Chief Training Officer facilitate fire prevention and training for the entire department.
A District Chief, District Deputy Chief and Captains provide leadership and administrative support at each station.
Volunteer Firefighters train twice monthly for approximately four hours per month. The Chief Training Officer develops a strategic training plan for each calendar year focusing of the components of the National Fire Protection Association curriculum, including: Semi-Automated External Defibrillation, First Aid, CPR, Naloxone and Epi Pen administration, Officer Development, and specialty rescue programs such as rope, water and ice, and confined space rescues, and motor vehicle extrication.

Station #3 is located at 51251 Ron McNeil Line. The station operates with a compliment of 25 volunteer firefighters, a 2007 pumper truck, 2004 tanker truck with 1800 gallons water capacity and a 2012 rescue vehicle. Station #3 provides fire services programs to residents of the municipality from north of Talbot Line (Highway 3) in the south to Century Line in the north, easterly to Pigram Line and westerly to Springwater Road. This station houses specialized rescue equipment for water and ice rescues and auto extrication.

Station # 4 is located at 49431 Lyons Line. The station operates with a compliment of 25 volunteer firefighters, a 2015 pumper truck, 2018 tanker truck with 2500 gallons water capacity and a rescue vehicle. Station #4 provides fire services programs to residents of the municipality located north of Century Line in the south to Avon Drive in the north, easterly to Pigram Line and westerly to Springwater Road. This Station houses specialized rescue equipment for rope and confined space rescues.

Located at 7355 Imperial Road and was established as a result of the merger of former Station #1 (Mount Salem) and Station #2 (Summers Corners). The station operates with a complement of 30 volunteer firefighters, a 2009 pumper truck, a 2016 tanker truck with 2500 gallon water capacity, a 2013 rescue vehicle and a 2000 technical rescue truck. Station 5 provides fire services programs to the residents of the municipality located from Highway 3 (Talbot Line) to Lake Erie and to Richmond Road to the east and Springwater Road to the west. This Station houses the municipality’s motor vehicle rescue equipment including a set of heavy hydraulics know as the “Jaws of Life”, and other specialized auto extrication equipment. As well, this Station houses specialized rescue equipment for rope rescue and water and ice rescue.
