CCCA Watershed Condition Statement - Dec. 27, 2022

Catfish Creek Conservation Authority has issued a Watershed Conditions Statement for residents of Catfish Creek Watershed on December 27, 2022 at 1:30 PM.

This is a Water Safety, Watershed Conditions Statement indicating that high flows, unsafe banks, melting snow and ice or other factors could be dangerous for winter sport recreation, children and pets. Flooding is not expected at this time.

In consultation with CCCA, and in response to this statement pertaining to forecasted rain and warm temperatures, the Township has called upon the dragline operator to be set-up in Port Bruce for cautionary purposes. The dragline operator has confirmed that the machine will be set-up and able to be operating if needed on Saturday, December 31.
