Watershed Condition Statement for Residents of the Catfish Creek Conservation Authorities Administrative Area
Issued on December 11, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.
This is a Watershed Conditions Statement indicating that there are possibilities of winter storms generating extreme winds and consequent large waves which will make the Lake Erie shoreline and area unsafe for any activities.
Residents are asked to closely watch local conditions and take appropriate responsible action and are urged to use caution and stay away from Lake Erie shoreline areas experiencing strong wave action and elevated water levels.
At present this Water Safety, Watershed Conditions Statement will remain in effect until such time as the CCCA identifies the need to discontinue the statement. Updates will be made available when and if conditions warrant. Click HERE for full statement details
